This photo will always be special to me. Aside from being an incredible experience in the moment, it was my first to win an award. I won first place in landscape photography in the 2023 National Photography Show at the Lincoln Gallery in Loveland, Colorado.
This young bighorn sheep had the same idea as me: find a nice spot to watch the sunset. Luckily for both of us, we met up near the summit of Mt. Blue Sky. Even better for me, I got to take in this view.
